About the Blog

I love food, I love to eat, and I would like to share my experiences with friends and strangers.

When hanging out with friends in boring Singapore, one of the most exciting activities is to try out new places that whet your appetite. Other reviews may say something about a particular place, but you never know how it fares until you've tried it yourself. This blog also serves as a journal to document my eating escapades with my loved ones, who are mostly in love with food as well. After all, some of the most wonderful moments you spend with your loved ones include food as well! Family gatherings, meeting up with friends, birthday/Christmas parties etc etc.

What's expressed here are just humble opinions on the various eateries that I've tried. If you have thoughts about some places, please feel free to comment, I would love to hear from you.

"So it was another day in foodie paradise. And that is Singapore’s singular danger. It is easy to get sucked in, to get used to the little things on your daily table — the tiny dishes of sambal or chopped red chili peppers, the soy sauce, even the moist towelettes. You begin quickly to expect them, to take them for granted. And once you get used to the sights, sounds, smells and tastes, there is no going back. Western food becomes eerily bland and flat. You find your soul kidnapped by the memory of condiments. And, of course, of the people who introduced you to them. If you like the idea of getting lost in Asia, Singapore is the perfect place to start."
